My Summer Plans

    When thinking about what to write about for this vlog I had a difficult time coming up with what to write about because I realized that I have already written blogs about my friends, family, food, and various events. So I decided to write about the only thing that is giving me motivation to push through and that is summer. I am so tired of high school and desperately need graduation to come. Although high school really is not that bad, I feel that I will enjoy my life in college much more. I like having my own schedule, studying on my own, and overall having freedom. The concept of not having school structured from 7-2 every weekday is appealing. I am excited for summer to come so I can be stress-free and the only thing I will have to worry about is how much gas is left in my car or what the UV is for the day. I typically feel like an entirely different person in the summer. Especially this summer because it is the summer before college and I am going on multiple vacations. I already have so much planned for this summer and I can't wait. At the beginning of summer, I have orientation for college and although I am a little scared I think it will be good for me to meet people so that I possibly have friends once the semester starts. About a week after that, me and my whole family are going to our beach house for a few days and we only go about once a year. Even though it is just to Galveston it is fun because there is a pool and I love pools. We are also currently planning a trip to Mexico but we haven't decided on dates yet but will likely be sometime in July. I am also going to the Bryson Tiller concert at the end of June with some friends and I am very excited for that because I have been listening to Bryson forever. At the beginning of August my whole family is going to California for a week as a family reunion and to see my family that lives there. This trip is like a last little vacation before I go to college so I can relax and spend time with my family. This summer is going to be filled with trips and events and I think this will be the most fun summer yet. I am also getting a new car this weekend. It was supposed to be my birthday gift from a few weeks ago but shipping got delayed because it is coming from out of state so it is taking a while. I am very grateful to be getting a new, nice car and be given these opportunities this summer and time could not move any slower.
